I went with a social group on a 5 day sampler cruise to Tasmania. I have never sailed with Princess before and wanted to see if I would cruise with them in the future.

I have previously cruised with MLC, Carnival and RCI. The first thing that took me by surprise was how small the public areas of the ship were and how tired looking the ship was.

I had a balcony cabin which was much smaller than previous cruises less cabin and a bigger balcony which was a waste of space. The storage space for cases was larger than other cabins I have been in. The central piazza was always over crowded with people who just wanted to sit all day so getting a seat to drink your coffee was out of the question. The lifts were slow and half were not working.
