The staff and crew of The Pride is just plain outstanding. Wonderful. I don't have a single complaint. After a few days you feel like old friends. The decor is a bit weird, on board entertainment is just so-so (not for lack of effort or talent, it's just strange...), and the itinerary is "eh". The Grand Turk day ends at 2PM. Freeport ends at 1:30... really? Get off the ship at what,7:30 in the morning and take an excursion? Beach and "unlimited tropical drinks" for breakfast? (There is no Denny's) All that aside, if you suspend disbelief and manage your expectations well.... it's a freakin' wonderful week! You'll have a great time. Make sure you get a fish taco at the Blue Iguana, and one of Guy's burgers. Don't overload the "toppings". Sign up for "Anytime Dining" and always ask for the waitstaff you like. The menu stays the same week-to-week and they are very familiar with it. We ate every dinner in the Normandie restaurant, Deck 3. The best kept secret is the sea-days brunch. Don't miss it. 5 starts for the huervos rancheros!
The outside doors do not open on this cabin. Some 4K will, others won't. It's a crapshoot.
Half Moon is just plain wonderful. Videos are available on Youtube. Check it out.
Walked out of the shuttle bus, through security, stopped at the checkin desk, and straight to the boat! 15 minutes from car to bar.
Freeport is not my favorite... maybe if it was afternoon ot evening a quick stop at Senor Frogs might be okay, but 8:00AM? Brewery tour is good, but was closed for Good Friday.
