We picked this particular cruise because we wanted to try Viking Ocean and the ports were intriguing to us. The crew was outstanding and special applause goes to the Cruise Director Heather. She was a gem. Dining was super, although we did not particularly enjoy the Chef's Table menu and would have preferred some choice in the menu. We loved the Italian restaurant, Manfreddy's. I ordered a lamb chop which was phenomenal-the best I've ever had. The Restaurant was always good and the wait staff went out of their way to please.

I do recommend Viking Ocean without a doubt.

The Viking Sea is a wonderful combination of river cruise with the amenities of wine, beer, or soda at all meals, tours included without the hassle of ocean cruises with photographers at every corner, casinos, and high end boutiques everywhere. No formal nights during the cruise and found we could dine alone if we wished but also were able to join other guests and meet new friends. All in all a wonderful trip.

Cabin Review

Cabin ?

Lovely room. Could have used a clock, and more drawer space. Personally, I didn't care for the heated bathroom floor. Several spots were REALLY hot. All in all A+ cabin. Great location too.
