We convinced our friends to cruise Princess after having a great cruise along the US West Coast 3 years earlier. We were embarrassed to have suggested Princess, The food was at best mediocre, and the service was horrendous.

The attitude of the staff was the most disturbing part of the cruise. For every staff member who was helpful and courteous, there were 2 others who would ignore us or roll their eyes when asked for something. Even at the movies under the stars, I heard someone inquire about the popcorn, and she was told,"there's non left" and then she proceeded to walk away.

The general impression was that each staff member wore too many hats. The service desk, internet desk, excursion desk, and medical office all had extremely limited hours. The entertainment staff assisted in debarkation and were confused and disorganized.
