This was our 3rd cruises with Carnival and it was nothing compare to the 2 first ones. I didn't give a one because the animation and the service in the formal dinner restaurant were good. Other than that, it has been a huge disappointment. First of all, the boat was dirty and the stateroom wasn't clean at all. Lot of paper wraps/food on the lido, food and drinks left in the hallway all day long, stains on the sheets, hair left in the shower... second, the boat doesn't have a real pool! 2 little water holes were 5 kids can play. Other than than, there are only hot tubes. Adults couldn't just enjoy a pool. One female maid entered my stateroom without knocking on the door or checking if the room was empty. Unfortunately, I took my shower just 2 minutes before and wasn't dressed. She completely entered the room before she turned around and left like nothing happened. I complained about this incident and took advantage to also talk about the cleanliness of the room in general. The first lady recorded the complaint and called the manager. The manager just told me "sorry but there is nothing I can do". She didn't propose to send someone to clean the room or anything else. She kind of answered me that since I am a man, it is not as bad as if it would have been a woman and a man entered the room. I told her that I didn't want to pay the entire automatic tip as the room service was so bad. She answered that I have to call Carnival after the cruise as she can't do anything. The only response to the incident we received was that... no one ever came to clean the room until the end of the cruise! And when I called Carnival, the lady on the phone told me that they could only give me a voucher for the next cruise. I answered her that I wan't to reduce my tip instead but she told me I should have request it before the end of the trip. I informed her that I have been instructed differently but she started to be aggressive and I have to accept the voucher because she wanted to close my case.
