The cruise itinerary is pretty unique, starting at Valparaiso , then around the Cape ,into Buenos Aires and Rio, Salvador and onto the Caribbean.

We spent 2 days in Santiago before we embarked, embarkation was an unorganised Shambles, a strike by Chilean dock staff delayed passengers getting off and passengers getting on - no input from Princess just very poorly organised chaos, and the chaos was repeated in Fort Lauderdale [ but more later].

The ship is a bit tired , but our cabin was fine and the cabin staff were great.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B1

Plenty of hanging space, comfortable bed, great staff, hate the shower, its small and the curtain is no where near as good as a sliding door.

The cabin was clean, but the balcony was a bit rugged and lots of visible rust around the edges

Port Reviews

Santiago (Valparaiso)

Great city, lots to see

Punta Arenas

We enjoyed the town walk

Montevideo

Toured the theatre -- wonderful and the market is fun - have lunch at the aprils if you can.

Buenos Aires

^ hour walking tour with a coffee and lunch stop, just great

Rio de Janeiro

Loved Rio, Christ the Redeemer statue. Then had lunch at Ipanema beach at Girota restaurant

Rio de Janeiro

Sugarloaf was amazing - went there early to beat the crowds
