Just back from a four day cruise aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. Cruised with my Daughter and Granddaughter, our first time on one of RC's older small ships. Let me start by saying we were somewhat apprehensive about the ship after having read some of the negative reviews concerning ships appearance and JS 8062 dreaded pole. We need not have been concerned. The pole was not a problem and the noise we expected from the pool and windjammer area was minimal. Nothing to keep you awake, unless you are a very light sleeper. Embarkation easy and quick with priority boarding. Suite ready by one o'clock, luggage delivered by three o'clock. Over all for an older ship it has been well maintained: atrium; My Fair Lady Dining Room; Theater. All of the ships crew were friendly, helpful and courteous, ready to help with what ever you requested. There's not as much to do as there is on the mega ships, however, this was a cruise for R&R so that was ok with us. Special thanks to our Room Stewart Dondi for and excellent job of keep out cabin tidy and well stocked and to our Dinner Waiter Andi who did a wonder job. Nassua: spent the day at The Atlantis. Coco Cay was a nice beach day with a picnic lunch provided by RC. Stayed on the ship at Key West, needed a ship day before sailing back. My only con: asked to walk off the ship as we had a 9:45 flight out. Instead of being allowed to just walk off, we were told to line up with hundreds of other guess, who were also getting off, which caused us to miss our flight and spend nearly twenty four hours, from 9:35 a.m. Friday until 10:10 a.m. Saturday, at the airport before we could get a flight out. Never has this happen before, always took our bags and walked off. Walk off Policy needs to change. All and all had a great time aboard The Enchantment

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

Junior Suite 8062 was a nice size for the three of us: King bed, sofa bed, two chairs, two foot stools, coffee table. Bed comfy. Sleep sofa comfy after adding additional padding. Nice shower head with plenty of hot water. Plenty of closet space and drawer for your belongings. Nice size balcony. Small tv with no cc. Con: suite had only two outlets, located under the mirror, in the bedroom and non in the bathroom.
