We picked this cruise because the couple we were traveling with had sailed with Princess before and liked them. Well, i will never cruise with Princess again. I believe the average age on our ship was around 70 - 75 and the food and activities seemed to be geared toward that age group. Our group was 54 - 58. And we were BORED!!
While our cabin was spacious compared to other cruises we have taken, the intercom never did work so missed all announcements. Also my husband developed a nasty rash on his face that I believe was caused by bed bugs in the feather pillows.
The first morning of our cruise I splurged on a pedicure in the spa. Big mistake!!! The first 45 minutes instead of being relaxing was a sales pitch to get me to buy more items. When I refused, she became rude and quickly finished. There seemed to be many "seminars" during the week geared towards getting you into the spa.
