Just back from the Triumph on which we had a great cruise and the most gorgeous sunny warm weather every day. Calm seas at all times. We arrived at the pier at 1:15 and were in our cabin at 2. Going through security I was asked to remove a glass bottle from my bag (it was soda) and the tsa person gave it a good looking over. The person behind me had a bottle of wine she also inspected but allowed.

We had a 9a balcony cabin and I was disappointed it had no lounger chair, and it was to no avail to climb the chain of command to get one; something about "procedure". There are the older type of hangers in the closet—two that detach and then reattach to one plastic thingie to hang permanently on the bar. No clips for skirts. Toilet seat was very worn looking. Nice basket of toothpaste, razor, etc. in bathroom. Cabin was nice though. Old style tv and even older remote—numbers worn off! I did miss having a fridge in the cabin. We did end up having toilet flushing problems most of the days. Got to know the plumber.

Interesting dEcor. I liked that all the bars and clubs were close together on deck 5. I like the martini bar. Game room had tables for game-playing which I miss on some ships. Groups of teens enjoyed using the game room which I liked to see. I now understand why people complain about the London dining room being smack in the middle of the ship on two decks. So you have to go back up to 5 and then come back down to 4 to view photos in the gallery. I liked the forward multi-level outdoor viewing areas. Casino was nice though too cold all the time. Lots of photo opportunities. Shops nice, theater very large.
