You are about to read a very long and very extensive review. Don't say I didn't warn you!

We really enjoyed our cruise on Liberty of the Seas. This was our second Royal Caribbean cruise together, with the first being on the Navigator of the Seas. We found that the Liberty was very similar to the Navigator in many ways, but had a few added touches such as the water slides that gave us something new things to try.

The ship was very well kept and seemed very clean to me. Keep in mind this is far from a brand new ship, so it's not going to look like Royal Caribbean's newest ships do but you can tell that pretty much everything in the common areas has been updated and everything is very clean and doesn't feel old. Our room attendant made sure our stateroom stayed very clean as well. She never missed a cleaning and was very kind and friendly. We stayed in a regular interior stateroom and were a little worried it wouldn't be as nice as our promenade stateroom on the last cruise, but it was essentially exactly the same and it didn't take away from our experience at all.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

We had the cheapest possible room on the ship and we thought it was perfectly fine for 2 people. There was plenty of room for us and all of our clothes. The bed was very comfortable and already had the little foam pad on it which made it very soft.

Port Reviews

Galveston

We thought the process went smoothly, but try to get to the port as early as possible and leave the ship as early as possible to avoid any lines.

Cozumel

We love Cozumel. We went to a place near downtown called "The Thirsty Cougar" and had some amazing nachos. They were probably the best nachos I have ever had and my wife and I were starving and still couldn't finish a single order together. We had some margaritas at a few different places downtown and it was a blast. We took a 5-10 min cab ride downtown for $8 and ended up walking back. It was a very long walk and I wouldn't recommend it unless you want the exercise, which we did.
