This was my wife and myself cruise number 10 ( 8 with NCL) and must admit we were wary of such a large ship, would you still get the Cruise experience or would it feel like a holiday resort.

Felt we had the best of both. The Epic is very much a party ship where the staff encourage the party spirit and family entertainment. We were there as a couple but there was still enough choice to entertain us as well. After 23:00 there is a comedy show specifically for adults only. The comedians are very funny but the humour is American, so as Brits, we didn't always get the joke. The show, "Howl at the Moon" is a must, very funny and very much off the cuff.

A bad point was that you should book the shows you want to see (this can be done on your T.V.). We thought as we hadn't booked we couldn't go to the shows in the Theatre. This is not the case. You can go as it still acts as a first come first served basis. The Theatre shows are on your T.V. to let you know whats on. You book for Guest entertainers and the Specialty restaurants. However, if you have not booked you may still attend if there are spaces or "no shows".

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin ID

Not keen on lack of privacy due to lay out. No separate mirror for shaving and make up. Wash hand basin in bed area was noisy during the night when we washed our hands. Cabin staff were friendly and efficient. Jae Mar was very nice and went that extra mile.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Great experience. Never been here before, really enjoyed getting a taste of the George Town.
