This was a 10 day cruise out of New York for my sweetie who's done this before and me, a novice. We started off with an upsell offer mini suite balcony to Penthouse with aft balcony. Best money ever spent. Now we have a butler, dedicated concierge, priority embarking and disembarking, snacks every afternoon, special breakfasts and lunches and unlimited free movies, 1st run. La La Land, Moonlight, Dr Strange etc.

When we were checking in, our largest piece of luggage made it to our suite with out a wheel. No worries, spoke with the butler who hooked us up with the concierge and the ships carpenter fixed it up perfectly after having found the wheel. The concierge appeared to be stalking us to make sure we were happy with the work. We then had our concierge rebook our meals from the 8:30 time frames to 7:00. Clearly, all powerful.

The food, except for one meal, (out of 30+ ) was exemplary. The service, beyond reproach. We didn't do any shows as when dinner was finished, so were we. No excursions either. We just got off the ship and wandered around like tourists. We booked the spa package but except for the first day and the last day, the weather was perfect. We're booked on the breakaway and leave in less than 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see the difference between a large and not so large ship.
