We picked this cruise based on the ports of call (aside from crappy Labadee) and we wanted to try RC as we had heard good things. BEWARE, they will nickle and dime you to death if you let them. EVERYTHING is way over priced and sub standard. The buffet food was TERRIBLE for the most part. The "juice" they offer is just fake sugar water not real juice (unless you want to pay a lot extra). The Adult Beverages are weak, WAY over priced and poorly made for the most part. Bar service is very slow and altogether unfriendly (except in the Concierge Club). The staff in general was unfriendly and seemed to genuinely dislike their jobs (except our main dining room wait staff and specialty restaurant staff, they were great!). They were unwilling to accommodate even simple requests. The coffee they serve is VERY good. The ship itself was nice but I would just give it an average overall rating for layout and design. We will never sail on RC again unless it is a GREAT deal with GREAT ports.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Nothing special. Smaller than other ships. Cabin attendant was not very accommodating.

Port Reviews

Labadee

Just a fake island with terrible food and nothing authentic.

Curacao

Took a taxi to Mambo Beach. Had a great day!

Aruba

Took the public transportation bus to Palm beach, rented 2 chairs and umbrella for the day and enjoyed our favorite beach (next to Maui) of all time!

Bonaire

Rented a car and drove around the island that we had never seen before. What a cool place to see. Stopped at Jive beach and several other places along the way for photos. Had an authentic Dutch lunch at "The Beach" restaurant. Then spent the last part of our day at a beach close to port. Outstanding day!
