I chose this cruise for the specif dates available for a short cruise with a first timer. I have been on several cruises but it was my cousin's first. Overall, the cruise was good.

We arrived at the port by shuttle. The embarkation process had changed since my last carnival cruise from this port. We checked in then sat in the waiting area until our boarding zone was called. We headed to the pool deck and relaxed until the cabin was ready at 2.

My first impression of the ship was that it felt cramped and a little dated. The ceilings low and lots of things squished together. The outdoor pool and deck are small. Seating non-existent from sun up to sun down.

The cabin was nice, plenty of closet space and room for 2.
