The Greatest Way to see the Med and French Rivera

The itinerary was exactly what we had been looking for, the dates were prefect and the price was RIGHT! The crew took excellent care of us in our Penthouse Suite. The food, especially the steakhouse was amazing! The variety of food in the buffet for lunch and dinner was good. We did not go to any shows so I can't speak to those. The crew was nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this cruise line and this itinerary.
We did the Jack Pippin Cooking School and I was not impressed. We cooked shrimp and fish and the chief was a little demeaning to her assistants. Being in FL we cook these types of items already, so perhaps that is why we were not impressed.
The excursions on the ship seem overpriced. We booked all excursions on our own as we wanted private tours for the four of us. All tours through the ship were mass transit via a commercial bus. The ship did provide shuttles to some cities when the port was further away from the city center.

Rented a convertible and drove to Nice, France. What beautiful mountains. We drove to Eze and stopped for a picnic, talked with locals, and smelled the lavender!

Booked a private tour where she took us to see lavender fields and toured Aix in addition to charming villages about 1.5 hours from Marseille.
