I chose this cruise because of the great ports of call. I wanted to experience some sun and fun. I arrived to the ship by 1:00 pm and was pleasantly surprised of the organized embarkation and team coordination in the process. It took very little time to board the ship. While on board, I was impressed of the great service that we received. The crew were incredibly friendly and attentive. The ship itself was very clean and well maintained and the food in the Windjamer and main dining room was excellent. The variety of food at the Windjamer was good and I enjoyed lunch everyday. Although there were specialty restaurants on board, the food and service in the main dining room was so good that I did not feel the need to dine in the specialty restaurants. The entertainment was also first class. The shows and the performers were fabulous. There was a good variety of shows but we could not get to all of them. There was lots to do in the evenings. The DJ at the Vortex night club played great music. Overall, the atmosphere on board the ship was amazing and the entire experience was top notch. I would recommend this ship to anyone. I experienced the optimal example of superior customer service on the Jewell of the Seas. The ports were St. Croix, Dominica, St. Marteen, Barbados and Grenada. They were all great ports to visit with friendly people.
