We chose Holland American because we like the size of the ship as well as the departure port. This was our first voyage on Holland American (we have cruised more than 15 times on various lines.

We booked a Neptune Suite and we must say it was wonderful. Lots of storage space for our luggage and clothing. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Our cabin steward provided excellent service - quickly learned our names and was always friendly; inquiring about our day and answered questions that we had.

We ate all but one evening in the dining room. The waiters, wine stewards and all others were friendly, food was good and if you wanted something that was not on the menu they tried to accommodate your request. Wine selection ample.
