This was a mother daughter cruise with one of my daughters. We just wanted a trip to relax. We enjoyed several of the shows. Serenity deck was our favorite. We cruised during spring break so a lot of children. Most of which were allowed to run around with no supervision. Not their fault, but parents should be a little more in control of their children. Kids were running into people and did not seem to care. We managed to stay away from most of it on the Serenity deck. Overall we had a very relaxing cruise. Fantasy was a great ship. I never saw any area that was not kept clean. Had excellent service from bar staff. We had Cheers and never had any problem getting service. Even with a full ship, they took very good care of us. Room was kept very nice twice a day service and never had to ask for it. Robes in our room when we got there. We had faster to the fun as well, got on very quickly, room was ready luggage delivered very quickly. We did not want to get off early so we stayed on and were among the last to get off. It went very quickly. The only area where they could improve is the food. I have to agree it isn't always the best, but still pretty good. Deli and Guys Burgers were great.
Overall we had a great trip. Going on the Dream next in 3 weeks and can't wait to try that ship.
We got off the ship only in Progresso and did not find anything impressive about that port. We did not do any excursions so maybe there is something good about the area, but for just getting off the ship and going to the first stop off the pier, not anywhere I want to go again. We did not get off in Cozumel, been there before and also going there on my next cruise so we just enjoyed an empty ship.
Very comfortable, no problem with room temperature
If you do not take an excursion there is really no need to get off at this port. If you need a few souvenirs you can get those a the shops at the dock without going all the way into the town.
