Full disclosure: My wife and I avoided Carnival like the plague. Then my daughter kept up her grades and remained on the honor roll all throughout high school. We promised her a cruise of her choice and she chose Carnival's Sensation, embarking April 1, 2017. So last year, with a grimace, I booked it.
Fast forward to the present and I can't believe we haven't cruise Carnival before. We had a wonderful time.
We used "Faster to the Fun" and what a blessing that was. Embarkation was a breeze, our wait time to board minimal and simple. The staff at the port of Miami were friendly and professional. You can even bypass the lines at the service desk and Disembarkation was equally breezy!

Cabin was spacious and clean, plenty of room to maneuver with the two of us! Storage was ample and our large suitcases fit easily under the bed. The bathroom was very spacious, one could shower and the other use the sink/mirror with ease. The oceanview window however was always wet with sea spray so it always looked as if it were raining out.
The linens and bed were very comfortable and the air circulation and comfort level was perfect.
There is only one electrical outlet in the main cabin and one in the bathroom so utilizing a non surge protected power strip is a must.

Can you NOT have a good time at Stingray City? this was our 2nd visit to this wonderful sandbar! Looking forward to a 3rd!
