We chose this cruise for several reasons. We had not been on Celebrity but heard good things and wanted to find out. We have previously cruised with Disney (LOVE) and Royal Caribbean (adequate but VERY good deal). We also specifically wanted this itinerary. I have no complaints at all. Embarkation, disembarkation were both smooth and easy. The ship is beautiful and artwork is not only varied but everywhere! The Cabin was very nice and VERY well kept by our steward. We stayed in an Aquaclass cabin (which at the time was a $60 per person upgrade) and it was definitely worth it. We enjoyed the small perks, especially the water and daily tea and small snack at 4:00. We also enjoyed the Persian gardens (not at all crowded even on sea days). The entertainment was varied and ranged from ok to excellent. But entertainment is a matter of taste. The performers were all VERY good and we LOVED the cruise director. The service was very good...sometimes a bit slow for us northerners but attentive and very accommodating to requests---even when we asked for an appetizer from the main dining room (we ate in BLU every night but one) they got it for us not complaints or long faces. We loved all of the ports. We did one ship excursion, the Island Tour of St. Maarten and enjoyed it very much, The booked our own beach excursion on St. Kitts- Carambola Beach Club- and even if it was a bit more money than other places, we ALL loved it!! We would definitely go again and are looking forward to sailing with Celebrity. There were four of us, two couples. I would say average age on this cruise was early 40;s and up. We are all in early 50's. The atmosphere of the ship is definitely relaxing. Plenty of partying going on but overall it is a quiet atmosphere. It was exactly what we wanted. Celebrity lived up to it's philosophy of sophisticated elegance. Wide variety of activities, some gaming, shopping, enrichment lectures, outdoor pool games, movies, entertainment, crafts, wine and food "classes" --lots more!
