We choose this cruise as we wanted to visit the Caribbean in March and specifically the Islands scheduled ie Antigua, St Kitts, St Thomas and Turks and Caicos. We went on our first cruise last year on Emerald Princess also to the Caribbean and really enjoyed our experience.

From reading some of the the other reviews I am unsure we were on the same Crown Princess as some other people ie the people who have written some of the negative reviews.

Yes, the Crown Princess was not as immaculate as the Emerald Princess ( which had just been refurbished when we went on her last year) but she was nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews are stating. Firstly she was very clean and whilst there were signs of wear and tear this was only to be expected. It was the experience and the friendliness and helpful staff that more than made up for a few creases in the curtains /bedding and a few scratches on the furniture and dirty windows etc. If you are looking for this type of cruise, they are available with some other companies although you will pay twice /treble the price.

Port Reviews

Antigua

Fantastic - $25 each for a 4 hour tour around the Island with stops where we wanted and as long as we wanted. ELROY was brilliant and we can not thank him enough for what he showed us.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Good tour around the Island experiencing the main attractions etc
