I traveled with friends, it was their 1st Norwegian cruise, my 4th. They had a balcony cabin and I had a studio cabin. Both cabins were great with plenty of storage. Both room steward were less than great. Mine removed all the towels from the room and did not replace them a couple of times, including towels that were hanging and clean. My friends told their steward about their safe not working multiple times. Never fixed until they called the hotel director and it was fixed within a 1/2 hour. Nothing major or anything that ruined our experience.
The ship was clean and beautiful. Most of crew was very friendly and helpful. We ate most of our meals in the dining rooms or specialty restaurants. We enjoyed the food and service in both. We had breakfast at the buffet once and we enjoyed the choices available. I do not care for having to book shows ahead. We saw Burn the Floor and it was very good. Unfortunately we booked Rock of Ages and the Quest game show was at the same time. We opted to go to Quest and we had a great time. We spent a few very enjoyable evenings at Howl at the Moon and Fat Cats. Overall there were plenty of entertainment options and we enjoyed most of the options. We went to Wine Lovers the Musical. I probably would not do that again. The food was not to my liking, but we did have fun with our table mates.
The people we met on this cruise contributed to our great experience. We went to the cruise critic meet & greet and we had a great time with the people we met there throughout the cruise.
The cabin was well laid out. I was worried that it was going to be too small. It had plenty of space for one person and I enjoyed the coffee maker in the studio lounge
Had a great time at the space center. Very interesting and informative day.
My favorite stop on the cruise. Nice relaxing day at the beach with food & drinks included.
