One of the cool drinks at the World Famous Bar

This was our first cruise together, but we had both cruised before. We are a couple in our mid 40's without kids. We were looking for a ship where we would feel pampered, and Celebrity Silhouette delivered. The service was top-notch, and the ship was beautiful.

We really enjoyed all of the restaurants. We had an 8:30pm dinner seating for the main dining room, and ate there 3 times. We were seated at a table for 10, and all 3 of the nights, we were the only ones at our table. The service in the dining room was great, and we really enjoyed the food. The waiters and sommelier gave the impression that they genuinely cared about us having a great dining experience each night. We had also purchased the 3 night specialty dining package ahead of time, and we were really glad we did. It's hard to get your head around paying extra for dinners at first, but it is really worth it. Qsine was a really cool experience, with amazing tapas style food. The Tuscan Grill was amazing, especially the view. It is at the back of the ship, and we were eating at sunset. Our favourite dinner was Murano; my wife had the lobster (prepared at the table) and I had the lamb shank, and we were both blown away. I would highly recommend the specialty dining, as it adds something to the experience.

The had drinks at several of the bars, and always enjoyed ourselves. We had upgraded to the Premium drink package, and that ended up being a good idea. The World Famous bar is amazing, with some of the coolest drinks we've ever had.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

We thought the cabin was a great size. We had a veranda cabin mid-ship on deck 7, and had no issues with storage. My wife overpacks for every vacation we go on, but we had no problem storing all of our things and putting our suitcases under the bed. The veranda was a nice touch; we sat on it a bit, and after the cruise we regretted not having breakfast on it. Next time for sure!
