This was my first ever cruise. I got my money's worth in full.
The transfers to and from the "Emerald Star" cruise boat were flawless. The hotel in Amsterdam was adequate and was centrally located. My bedroom was larger than I'd feared, with a superb window (panoramic balcony suite) and plenty of storage space. The en suite shower and toilet were kept immaculately clean.
The meals were excellent. One meal, the lamb dinner, was truly exceptional, the tastiest dinner I've experienced in many years. There was a good mix of buffet (breakfast, lunch and tea) and served meals (dinner).
Cabin Review
The cabin was larger than I thought it would be, with sufficient storage space and a nice window the width of the room which allowed me to watch the scenery passing by. The steward kept the cabin clean and immaculate.
