This is our third cruise in a row, first two times were with MSC Poesia and MSC Fantasia (Mediterrean) but now we choose Celebrity. The difference between the two is that C has much more space per person and the staff keeps smiling all day long.
We were suiteguests (cabin 2136) and the cabin was located perfectly! The dining at Luminae was outstanding! Also the shows on board where from a high standard: we enjoyed it every evening. The ship is elegant and sophisticated, so are the people: never a shouting kid or any other unpleasant thing. The (mostly) Americans were patient, kind, had humor and were laid-back. There were also a lot of French-Canadians on board and some Scandinavians, which makes it nice. There was never a line for the ice cream bar, not even at breakfast in the main cafe. (Oceanview) We took an inside ship tour and it's amazing how they can manage such a large ship! The two excursions were great, not so hasted as MSC. The main difference between the two companies is that at MSC there are large Italian family's with lots of children who can be loud and they also spilled a lot of food. Didn.t see that at Celebrity. The only "negative" thing was a lounge club near Michaels Club; that was brown, dark and not much elegant....
The last day we had to wait a couple of hours before boarding to The Netherlands so we went to the Savoy hotel on Miami beach where we could spend half a day at the pool. Costs 35 Dollar including towels, sunbed. Your suitcase storage costs 5 doller per case.
Nice, spacious, clean, good bed, fruit and chocolate, good location: no sun during the day because of the overhanging ceiling outside. Very good doors to keep the sea-noise outside. Good climatcontrol.
