Decided to book a Viking ocean cruise taking advantage of an attractive promotional offer. I love cruising and have traveled the world on many different cruise lines. River cruising has never appealed to me so this was my first experience with Viking. Overall experience was excellent. Viking targets the 60+ demographic so almost all fellow passengers were mature Americans.

The ship is stunning with a well designed layout offering many public spaces furnished with great attention to detail.

A Viking cruise includes just about everything so hard to rack up a lot of charges on board.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Plenty of room for two. Access to the closet is tight with two twin beds. Vanity mirror in the desk is nice. Bed and furniture were very comfortable. Cabin was very quiet.

Enjoyed the panoramic view from the back of the ship, however cabin is a long walk from the stairs and elevators. Cabin is under the infinity pool which provides better protection from the elements.

Cabin stewards kept the room spotless.
