I chose Royal Caribbean because I had cruised with them before and had a great time. I thought Royal Caribbean was a little more classy than a couple of other cruise ships I had been on. This time I got an ocean view room , which was right above all the mechanical engines, ropes and chains in the front of the ship. It was truly a nightmare. It was so much noise and you felt every wave. I didn't get any sleep at all. Royal Caribbean has to know that this room in the front of the ship, is a bad room and put a paying guess in it any way. Also the entertainment wasn't that great this time; and no real dance club. I was very disappointed. I ate at the buffet every night, the food was okay. The dining staff and the bartenders were nice but everyone seemed really tired. I usually like to use room service, but their is now a $7.95 surcharge anytime you order anything even ice. I did enjoy the day at the private island, that was the best part of the cruise. This was my friends first cruise and I really wanted him to enjoy it. He said he liked it, but he didn't get the true experience of a great cruise. I hope he will try it again. Royal Caribbean really let me down.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Noisy. located right above the mechanic engines, ropes and chains. This room should not be for guess. See my statement above. Also so it was a very choppy cruise and you felt every wave with the room in the front of the ship. Also paid for an ocean view room and really couldn't see out of the window. The service person who took care of my room was excellent.
