Embarkation was smooth and seamless HAL has everything well coordinated. Our balcony cabin was the same as all signature class ships but our Room stewards were great. Matter of fact as we have come to expect with HAL the entire crew was excellent. Friendly beyond belief and they work so hard. The ship is scheduled for dry dock so I am hoping that the public areas get a little TLC. You can sure tell that the sea salt was winning over maintenance. Entertainment was ok nothing special an area HAL is working to improve but haven't succeeded yet.

Food. Excellent best thing on HAL cruises is the food. For my dollar no other cruise line comes close but again my opinion. The food and service in the Lido and MDR is excellent. I am amazed the after one sitting our MDR team knew our names and shortly after what we liked.

Shore Excursions were all done through HAL and they were all well coordinated. We do know that doing excursions on our own may be cheaper but the peace of mind that the ship will wait if a problem arrises is reassuring. Read more
