We have been sailing Celebrity and Princess. This was our first time with NCL. Booked the cruise a couple of weeks before sailing. We were a little skeptical about free style cruising, but it turned about to be really nice.

Embarkment in Vancouver was quick and easy. There were two ships in one line through security but the line up was always moving. Got through the line up and in our room within the hour. Our rooms stewards (2) came and met us. They were still helping with the luggage, etc. but took the time to introduce themselves to us. Every night had a different towel animal either on the bed or hanging from the curtain. Very creative.

The rooms had more than enough drawers and closet space to accommodate everything and well laid out. Beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were really nice and fluffy. Everything in the room was clean and we didn't have to ask for anything.

Great location, 10 feet from elevator, loads of closet and drawer space, middle of ship port side, quite quiet for the location
