Eurodam
We took this cruise as a last-minute type getaway from winter. We weren't as interested in the ports as we were the ship experience and the warmth and sunshine. We are experienced cruisers, have cruised on Holland America many times and been to the Caribbean about 20 times. This was our third time on Eurodam. The weather was fantastic. The only day we encountered bad weather was in Key West. It was cool, windy and on and off rain. Overall, the water was very calm.
The ship recently had a face-lift and was in very good condition. The crew/staff was excellent. We had 6 o'clock traditional seating in the dining room and had a fantastic waiter/assistant waiter. With the exception of the first night, the menu selection was very good and the food delicious – some of the best we've ever had.
The space in this cabin was nice. I love the tub in the bathroom. Even though it's small, it's still better than the shower stall. The negative thing about this room is the balcony was just above one of the life boats. There was frequently a lot activity around this boat (when used as a tender, maintenance, etc) I wouldn't book it again.
