I chose the cruise because of climate and I (nearly) always choose Celebrity. I have been in Miami several times and knew what to expect. I stayed at the Savoy on South beach. it was a good hotel. (despite finding my room already occupied when I opened the room door.) I was upgraded to a suite which was very good, although it was the furthest away from the only available lift. If I was to go to Miami again I would book a hotel closer to Lincoln Road Mall which has better restaurants and cafes.

Embarkation was smooth, although there were horrendous queues. I left my hotel and in little over an hour I was in mu stateroom (No.6121) I am "elite" in the captain@s club, but the queue there was longer than the "ordinary" queue. So that shpws how quickly they were processing people for embarkation. Disembarkation was smooth and quick, but the queues for immigration were the same as they always seem to be in Miami. But again they moved quite quickly. Instruction about disembarkation on board were clear and succinct.

I love Celebrity and "Reflection" beautiful. ...clean, attractive, and welcoming. safety drill was over quicker than it used to be, and my luggage arrived shortly after that. My cabin was a veranda cabin. quite far forward and always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of storage space and thank goodness doors and no curtains in the shower.
