This review may be more suitable for those who travel but have not done much cruising.

My only cruising experiences are cheap Carnival cruises out of near-by Galveston for long weekend getaways. Cannot even begin to compare these cruises to Viking, but they are, of course, far cheaper.

The ship was great, the cabin was great, food was very good, and everyone is very pleasant. For the excursions, alot of time on buses; a virtual reality kind of vibe. We did a week in Italy on our own after the cruise (Siena and Orvieto) and much preferred that week. And it was, of course, far cheaper.
