This 14 night cruise of the Southern Caribbean is a Caribbean cruise like no other. It stands out among the many Caribbean cruises for many reasons, the length of the cruise, the ports visited, numerous sea days to enjoy the Caribbean sun and all while on a great ship the Celebrity Eclipse.

Most Caribbean cruises that I am familiar with are a simple 7 days of the eastern Caribbean or the western Caribbean. This cruise not only differs from the same old ports but provides a very nice 14 days onboard. The ports of Bonaire, Curacao, Aruba, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten provide a nice alternative to San Juan, St. Thomas, Cozumel, Jamaica and the proverbial private port or island. The Islands visited provide diverseness in scenery, beaches, port towns, tours etc. On our cruise we experienced kayaking and snorkeling in the mangroves of Bonaire, the wilderness of Curacao on an ATV, sailing the blue waters of Aruba and Barbados, relaxing mud baths of St. Lucia as well as tours of all the islands visited. On most every island there is more you can do on a second or third trip to them. Celebrity provided us two amazing days in Aruba as we spent an overnight there.

With 5 sea days there was plenty of time to enjoy the sun around the pool, partake of the many Celebrity Life activities, get in your exercise to burn off those extra calories from the fine cuisine or simply chill out on your own veranda. Trivia, lectures, glass shows, classes of various kinds and group activities all made these days simply fly by all too quickly.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1C

Cabin 1C

Typical cabin towards the aft starboard side, near but not to close to the elavators and stairwell. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of room to manuever in but we found storage a little short, it could have used a few more drawers. Closet space was ample with plenty of hangers. Bathrom was nice and clean with with a nice enclosed shower. Veranda was nice, had a good few
