We chose this cruise because it goes out of Port Canaveral and is closer to Orlando and was the best ship for the price. However, I'm not sure we will sail on the Majesty again. It's getting really old and the food is terrible. The service is absolutely amazing though. The entire wait staff goes above and beyond. We tried the buffet a few times and it is not very good at all. Even the main dining room had subpar food. The steak, pork and chicken were all dry and barely edible and I don't think a single dessert was good during our three night vacation. We got on board close to 3pm and pretty much walked on which was a plus and we stayed on the ship in Nassau without doing an excursion there. We've been to Nassau several times and found it nice to have the ship to ourselves on day 1. We always enjoy Coco Cay and this time we got a bungalow because the cabanas were all sold out and we truly loved the bungalows better. They are cheaper and much more secluded! You must get one if you are going to the private island. We have been there three times, first time without pre-ordering anything, the second time with a cabana and this time with a bungalow and we really liked the bungalow best. It would be even better if the ship and the private island had a kid free section like other ships do, but I think you get what you pay for. The comedy shows were great, but unlike other ships, I was really surprised they did not pack the room for the adult shows. I think it's because they booked the Quest show and the adult comedy to overlap. Those are both very much wanted shows. Also, what happened to the white party the ship used to throw? Now it's a 70's/80's and if you don't know they do that, then you are unprepared with clothes. So FYI pack your 70's and 80's clothing. I would rather a white party instead though and I had my white outfit ready. Oh and our friends had an inside cabin on the 7th floor and they woke up with hundreds of bites on their bodies. I think it's bed bugs, but the crew made them leave while did an inspection and then said they found nothing, which is impossible.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin SO

The cabin had new carpet which is a plus, but the bathroom has some rust and was somewhat old and dirty looking. It was clean, but it just really needs to be updated. The water smelled like sewage was backing up which scared me, but at times the water smelled normal.
