Getting On and Off the Ship: The new staggered embarkation process is a great idea. It certainly doesn't eliminate the lines but they were much shorter and faster moving than the last time we cruised. We were the last group to disembark and since our flight was later in the day we were in no hurry. Everything went smoothly and we relaxed on the Lido deck and had breakfast at the buffet while waiting for our group to be called.

The Ship: The Dream was just updated in January of this year but it was not a complete overhaul. Replacing some obviously worn cushions and carpeting would have made the ship look almost new but these were minor items and overall the ship looks great. We had an interior cabin on deck 9, Vista. No different from every other interior cabin I've been in since my first cruise in the early 90's. Small but adequate; comfortable bed; a place to sleep and clean up which is all I require of a cabin. The public areas are nicely done with plenty of fairly comfortable seating and a variety of entertainment venues. There are two large pools on Lido deck and two jacuzzies by the aft pool. I appreciated the cushioned wicker seating found in several different areas and the cute rocking chairs by the main pool.

Service: I have never had bad service from any ship employee and this was no exception. Thank you again Imade for making our room as neat as possible every day considering there was a teenage girl and all of her stuff in residence. He called us by name whenever we saw him and always with a smile. "Harry" the waiter (his name is much longer but he said to call him Harry) was a sweetheart and never impatient with our teenager who could not decide what she wanted or the young boy at our table who wanted 4 helpings of an appetizer and nothing else. These people work hard and are one of the reasons a cruise is such a great vacation.
