Like others after reading the reviews I was nervous!! I've been cruising since I was 8 years old, and things have definitely changed across the industry, but it is still one of my favorite ways to travel. Pay close attention to those who give a bad review, because, for the most part, all they do is COMPLAIN-based mostly on opinion and being super picky.

With that being said, here it goes:

Embarkation/Disembarkation: Both were painless and took about 30-40 minutes total time. We arrived at Port C around 1:30 the day we left...no problems. We walked off the ship around 8:30am the day we docked...again, no problems.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M3

Shower was huge and there was a curtain separating toilet/shower areas from room. We weren't in the room much, so I didn't really find it to be a problem when needing bathroom privacy. Plenty of storage, decent sized balcony, hair dryer, safe, about 10 hangers...all pretty standard. The layout is a bit odd, but manageable. My only true complaint was the main bed...this complaint is based on fact: If you are taller than 5'7" then your feet will hang off the bed if laying straight. I am only 5'8" and mine hung off which wasn't comfortable...imagine a 6'1" male...but we made it work.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Our favorite stop! We went to a beach that was authentic called Playa Palancar. It was so peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, not crowded, no wave-runners, jumpy things, crazies, etc. We enjoyed the small restaurant/bar and I had the best 30 minutes massage ever on the beach! It was only $25 and was fabulous. Cab was $50 round trip for 4, chairs were $5 each...so our "excursion" only cost us $70. You will not be disappointed.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

I had never been to this island and was looking forward to it...very disappointing. I guess I don't like the commercialization of the island (Burger Kings, Papa Johns, Margaritaville, starbucks) I can do that at home. Plus our excursion through NCL got cancelled for murky water...no snorkeling/sting rays for us. Ended up at the public beach...VERY crowded and everything was expensive...$3 for a water bottle. Plus, there were 4 other ships docked there that day...just not my thing.

Great Stirrup Cay

Beautiful, clean, relaxing, and your liquor package works there too through NCL. Again, there are not 4000 chairs, so get off early if you want a prime spot and chairs together. My kids rented snorkel gear and had fun doing that on their own! Excellent day!
