This was our first cruise in over 20 years, wow has it changed! Getting on the ship was controlled chaos, it appeared when we arrived at 11:30 am to be a madhouse, but we were through security and on board in no time, about 35 minutes.Once on board food was readily available in the Windjammer Cafe.

We had 5:30 dining in the MDR and had a table for 2. We found the meals very good and the waiters attentive. We had scheduled a night at Sabor before leaving home, but once onboard got the hard sell for different restaurant packages, 3 for $150, we took the bait. Our choices included Chops, Giovannis, and Sabor, with Sabor and Chops being our favorites. On a side note our dining times were 7pm and 6:30 pm, ad all three restaurants had many empty tables. Service in every dining venue was excellent and were well taken care of.

We enjoyed all the shows we went to missing only one night

Cabin Review

Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin P2

This cabin is one of the rooms added during the 2014 refurbishing,We entered the room and were immediately impressed with the floor to ceiling, wall to wall window. Being on deck 12 forward your room is high up and the views in port are incredible. The room itself was nicely furnished, a large firm bed,6-7 foot couch, desk area and room safe. the bathroom was standard RC fare I'm told. The only negative were minor, the carpet hd seen better days and the corner of the couch was threadbare(about 3 inches). It appears that the corner is very convenient to put your foot up to tie shoes (caught myself doing it).We would book one of these room again in a heartbeat, the view is amazing when waking up in the morning, either at sea or in port.
