Good Points Embarkation and Debarkation were a breeze! Service was incredible mostly the dining room staff and the cabin attendants except for the nasty member of the cruise staff who a female with one arm was extremely nasty to many passengers and to my niece who asked her a question this RCI employee needs to take a customer service course before she deals with any more passengers! FOS ship is gorgeous -very beautiful ship. Pool area is large and very nice larger pools and the H2O zone kept the kids very busy. Drifters appearing live at the show was great so was the Magic Show. Fun activities such as Dodge Ball tournament (but how about prizes for the winners?) pool line dancing, scavenger hunt, quest show. Bad Points The band at the pool could use a new band with songs that people know the loud caribbean music all day got to mecould use a band that was more festive, fun, and more current songs. Not enough LIVE entertainment at night especially no activities after the early dinner from 7:30-10pm only the show at 9pm which wasn't always interesting. Overly charging passengers for towels, drinks, photos, Johnny Rockets, bottled water, bingo, in room movies, after midnight room svc. etc. IF they lowered prices they might sell more volume & make passengers feel like they're not getting ripped off. Same old activities such as sexy leg contest, belly flop contest, marriage game, same old jokes about how for repeat cruisers add some new pool activities, new jokes etc. No more midnight buffet -that used to be alot of fun with dancing and bartender shows and great food. Now they have poolside dance where barely anyone showed. Food in the Windjammer for lunch was not good -no freshly cooked off the grill burgers, chicken sandwiches, no fresh to made sandwiches like Carnival has. Desserts were terrible in dining room and windjammer. Since we could have went on Carnival for alot cheaper you would think that RCI would have better quality food but it lacks.

Overall, a vacation is what you make it so we had a nice time but I think it was very expensive for large families in the summer when u add in tips, and all the excess charges it comes to high priced vacation but we had a really nice time and the FOS is a beautiful ship with many things to do during the day.
