Love Oceania cruises! We were looking for a relaxing low-stress cruise/vacation and picked this one because it fit with our schedule. No idea that we were going to Cuba but super excited that we did! Advice to those going to Cuba--research the Cuban history. We wished that we were more informed on their modern history to understand the context for where they are today. Other stops were good but found the abundance of other cruise ships at Costa Maya and Belize overwhelming.
The Marina is a nice ship. We stayed on a concierge floor with a balcony. Access to the concierge was good for early morning coffee and mid-afternoon snacks. Laundry facilities to help avoid overpacking. Food was really good (I gained seven pounds-ugh) and my husband didn't get tired of it. We ate at two of the specialty restaurants--Polo Grill and Toscana--as well as the Grand Dining Room, Terraces (Buffet) and Waves (grill). All had a good variety of food and we enjoyed it very much. Spent a lot of time in the pool area and the deck stewards took good care of us. This ship also has a library which is very convenient for readers like me. Other nooks and crannies outside to curl up with a book if you don't want to stay right by the pool. Port and shore excursions met our needs. Of special note was an all-day trip to the Vinales Valley in Cuba and snorkeling in Grand Cayman. We will go on Oceania again!
Cabin was clean and spacious enough for two people. Bathroom includes a tub which we didn't really use but gives a good illusion of space. Balcony was a perfect place to spend an early morning watching a sunrise or late afternoon as we left port.
