We didn't want to take a 2 week cruise leaving California, so this was the only option. We are a couple in our late 60s.Our package included 2 nights at Hilton Beachcomber Hotel. We were in cabin 9606. It's not a particularly big cabin but I haven't been in any others on this ship so I cannot compare. This cabin had a balcony. Lovely to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the Na Poli coast. Cabin clean. Beds comfortable.
We ate in 3 specialty restaurants. Moderno-very good. Cagney's-superb. Jefferson Bistro-not impressed. Low ceilings. Were seated next to a large very noisy group. Asked to be moved. Had the mussels appetizers.Yuck-very fishy broth, not the white wine version that I am used to. Ate 2 and gave it back. Excellent desserts. Thursday night hundreds of guests sign up for the Luau run by the ship. Made the restaurants fairly emply. Breakfast standard stuff. Not too exciting but decent. Same goes for self serve lunch at Aloha cafe.
We went to some entertainment. OK but nothing special.
