Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Balcony

We picked this cruise because it sailed out of San Francisco which is our home port and had a good itinerary.

The ships public rooms have been renovated and are nice but can be crowded. The balcony cabin we had was good size but needs a complete update. The bathroom shower was very small and trim pieces of the shower head kept coming off. The toilet was discolored and very smelly. Regarding the food on board, the buffet at lunch was like eating at a cheap cafeteria with limited selections and generally poor food appearance and quality. The menus in the regular dining rooms at night included only a few choices other than the "Always Available" standards on Princess ships. The food in the dining room we thought was very sub par.

The only standout on this ship for us was the staff which excellent at all positions.

Cabin needs total renovation, especially the bathroom.
