We took this cruise out of San Pedro in March 2017. We chose Princess to try something new as usually have gone on RCCL, NCL, Celebrity. It was the worst cruise ever been on and this was my 15th cruise. It was boring, as they had very few interesting and fun things to do. Now the shows were good, but everything else was bad. Dining room food was terrible, staff could not speak English very well. We found twist ties in our salad, and got served raw salmon after waiting 80 minutes for it. I would never try princess again. It seemed they tried to bore you so you had to spend $$ in the casino, auctions, or bingo. The cabins smelled musty and there was nothing special and creative about the room cleaning. Elevators were also a problem as it took forever to get one, and you were always crammed with tons of others. They tried to hard sell things like wine tasting, irish coffees, etc. If you said no, I actually saw employees rolling there eyes. Never had a cruise where I wished we were at the end of the trip, this was the one exception. Also tendering process took over an hour and you had to wait in a stuffy dining room for your number to be called.
