Pork loin at The Tropicana.

We took our first cruise to the Western Caribbean.

The food was average at best. I found that the food wasn't very warm at any of the restaurants we ate at. We tried the buffet, which had a great variety as well as The Tropicana, Savour and Ocean Blue.

I was disappointed that it was the same menu at both The Tropicana and Savour, with the exceptions of the "specials". The service was friendly but it was extremely slow at The Tropicana. It took 1.5 hours to get our meal. They did have live live music which was nice, but it was a bit loud during dinner. You couldn't hear the wait staff or your company. The food was tasty there though, it just wasn't hot enough.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfy. Our housekeeper was very prompt at both make up and turndown service. I loved the towel animals we got nightly. As well, I was very impressed that he remembered our names when acknowledging/addressing us.
