My wife and I have been on over 6 cruises. Been on Princess to Carnival. If you want to have fun don't go on this ship. If you want to read and just sit, this ship is for you. Worst entertainment ship I have ever been on. Have a singing dance group which played in the auditorium which was very good. Only played 40 minutes. All the other ships have a atrium where they played music, upbeat where people could dance, not here. People like to dance, when they did have a singing dance group, you could tell the energy in the people. If I can see this, why can't they. Even the sail away parties I have been to have always been upbeat with music, this was practically nothing. All the other ships during the day had something going around the pool and food outside, this had a guy playing steel drums very good and a a place to get some food. Like I said if you want to read this ship is for you, nothing going on for you.
WORST cruise director I have ever seen, never showed his self but twice. All other ships, always doing things with the people. No activities by the pool. What really bother me, was the Cancer walk. He made a big thing about it, him and his assistants were outside cheering people on, It took 9 laps, after 2 laps they were all going. You would of thought someone could of stayed. I have been on ships with really good cruise directors, his big thing was announcing who was going to be coming up next on the stage. He never put on activities at all. Just a boring ship. I will say the dining room was great, especially the head waiter and his assistant. If you want a floating old age home, this ship is for you. I know its not a younger crowd which is fine, but people like to dance, not just read..
Great cabin, had no problem, one of the better beds I have ever stayed in. Could of been a little wide, but had no problem. Great storage for clothes.
