Fantastic Family Vacation!

Review for the Eastern Caribbean Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

We just returned from a family vacation on Harmony Of The Seas with our children and grandkids. (Total of eight) We had a memorable, fun week with lots of things to do for all of us.

We sailed the Eastern Caribbean itinery this time. We have done both itineries several times. I think the Eastern itinery has better scenery than the western route. The sky and water are so blue!! Just like a postcard. All of the surrounding mountains/small islands and yachts in port are beautiful when viewed from above. In Nassau we took a ferry to Blue Lagoon Island to swim with the dolphins. I have done this excursion twice at Chauccanaub in Cozumel but this one was by far the best. The ride out to Blue Lagoon was a very enjoyable ride. The waters are very calm and our 7 year old son even did the foot push with ease. There is a nice beach and inflatable waterpark area for kids to play on for a small additional fee. We ate lunch and headed back to the ship. I wish we had more time on the island. The ship isn’t in port long enough.

We then went on to Magens Bay in ST. Thomas. Had another great beach day! The beach is sandy/not rocky and safe swimming for the kids. Rented a kayak and mom and dad took the kids out. You can rent paddle boards there too. On the way back to the ship our cab driver stopped at two different spots to take photos from above. All I can says is the view is breathtaking!! Words can’t describe the beautiful view overlooking Magens Bay. The second stop overlooks the port with a panoramic view of small islands, boats and cruise ships. Amazing!!
