Sail Date: Mar 2017

We stayed in Barcelona for a couple of days before our cruise. This city is well worth a visit even though we've been a few times before. Embarkation was seamless. We were registering for key cards etc. at 10.20 am and 11.30 we boarded. In the buffet by midday and luggage arrived by 1.30. Brilliant !.

The ship overall, did feel a bit small to us, but that is not NCL' s fault. This was our choice. The inside cabin was more than adequate with plenty of storage space and a large shower with a glass door. Deck 9 forward (9017) was the quietest we've ever had. No problems at all for the duration of our cruise. Our steward Reu was lovely and made sure everything was kept spotless and we had all that we needed. Although the ship is old, it has been very well maintained and we saw very little that was worn. The crew were very good and seemed a really happy bunch.

The washy washy girls stationed outside the buffet did a grand job however there were still people skipping past them to avoid cleansing their hands. We only ate in the Rafflles buffet, where there is such a variety of food all hot when it was required. Other people who used the MDR's and speciality dining were very happy. It's just not our thing.
