Princess Sapphire Alaska July 4, 2004

A little background: my H. and I are in our early 30's, we do not have children. This was our first cruise.

GETTING THERE: We flew into Seattle the same day as our cruise from Toronto and aside from a one hour delay for our connecting flight in Detroit we got there smoothly. We purchased transfers from the airport from Princess and found it worked really easily. Princess people were right in the baggage claim area, took your luggage from there and it was a short walk to the bus. Our names were not on the list for the transfer but we thought nothing of it at the time. They didn't know our stateroom number although they should have at that point. Fortunately I had checked online just the night before we had been assigned a room (we booked an inside stateroom and were upgraded to an oceanview). So I provided the number to the Princess rep to place on our luggage tags.
