The main reason for selecting this cruise was for the destinations including a visit to Cape Horn. We had previously seen some of these areas but wanted the small ship experience to see more of the spectacular scenery. We were not disappointed. It was brilliant. Our stops were all excellent and very different in every way. Pia Glacier was a highlight especially the zodiac ride through the ice flows. That was a fine experience. Ushuaia was the only city visited and has plenty to offer. it is one of the most stunning places we have ever ventured to. All of the guides and the zodiac operators were excellent. Our only disappointment was the food. The selection at breakfast was very ordinary and most anything that was hot was left on the buffet and quickly got cold. The lunches were much the same and not enjoyable. The dinners were very poor. We had to order our main at lunchtime, with the entrée and dessert just what you got - no choice. The mains were bland and when they arrived at the table they were lukewarm. There were no cloches to keep in the heat and with so many served at one time in this format, it was always going to be unappetising. The staff everywhere on the ship were excellent and always happy to accommodate any request. We would recommend the trip to anybody who would love to visit these destinations. It is worth the few things that were poor to see such magnificence and pristine areas.
