Ship: This was our first Celebrity cruise and we had high expectations based on reviews. Overall, it met our expectations. There was a better mix of people (few young families, large amount of middle age couples and some older people) than a more upscale cruise line we sailed before. Embarkation was well organized and quick. The ship was very clean, easy to find our way around, and mostly friendly crew. We did feel crowded at times. On nice days it was packed on the outdoor decks with no chairs to be found. Also, the tiny dance floor in the atrium wasn't sufficient for the number of passengers who wanted to dance. Blind Vinyl, the band, was outstanding by the way.
Dining: The food in the buffet, main dining room, and specialty restaurants was always delicious. We wish the main dining room had been open for lunch more often though. The Mast Grill was the same food every day (hot dogs, hamburgers, fries).
Service: We were happy with the service in all areas of the ship except the person handling specialty dining. He was not friendly or helpful at all and even rude to my husband. One other recommendation was they need to work harder at cleaning up used glasses and plates from the pool area and Sunset Bar. When it was windy, glasses were falling over and rolling around on the deck. Several times we picked up other's glasses and took them to the bar ourselves.
