Just returned back monday 27th March 2017after a splendid two weeks cruise around the caribbean. Ship was faultless in our opinion and Food and drink was amazing especially for an all inclussive deal. The two Ala Carte restuarants we visited "Surf & Turf " excellant and staff brilliant, Also the Karla La "Asian Food " was to Die for. ( Had Prawn Vindiloo rated at 10 Hot amazing tatse ( Best meal of the week ) however you need to book as soon as you get on ship as places limited. Meals for everyone on board and plenty to go round. I was was scepitcal before going as read as many NG reports as Good but i can only say as i find well done Thomson brilliant trip. Staff on board went the extra mile to please. They were always respectfull to guests all the time. Must admit entertainment not the best but they tried very hard to please. The only down side as many others have already mentioned is Thomson trips very over priced compared with just getting off and getting local Taxi to take you where ever you want. The Scenes of St. Lucia was Rubbish due to very poor Guide who only seemed interested in stopping at Family roadside stalls trying to sell brown Bananas. The flight back delayed by 4 hours so watch this space if compensation entilted too hopefully. Dream liner plane both ways excellant as first time on this Plane, although many people i spoke to on board said they never had this plane but the 767 which mainly was flying from Birmingham or Manchester. Gatwick seemed ok for Dreamliner flights. Thoroughly reccommend this ship if thinking of going. Will probably look for same Shipo Discovery next year perhaps in Med for a change. For our First time cruise excellant time had by all well done.
